5 Not-so Alien Actions

It is hard to miss all the news lately regarding immigration, refugees, and travel bans.  Changes in the immigration directives surface daily. Honestly, it is overwhelming to sift through all the details as an English-speaking U.S. Citizen - just imagine if your permission to stay in the United States, to continue studying in University here, or to be reunited with your family depended on it. Frightening, frustrating, discouraging, stigmatizing, paralyzing are some words that come to mind.

Scripture says in Leviticus 19:33-34 :

“When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.”
