Join us for worship each Sunday at 11:00am in the Fellowship Hall!

Contemporary Worship

At Forest Hills, we provide multiple opportunities for God’s people to worship as they feel led. So whether you’re more comfortable with hymns and organs or with guitars and drums, there’s a worship experience for you!

If a more informal, relaxed worship experience is what you’re looking for, we hope you’ll visit our Contemporary Worship Service. Each Sunday at 11:00am, we gather in the Fellowship Hall to worship our amazing and loving God! For over two years, we’ve gathered in this time and place to worship God through songs, scripture, and engaging sermons. We hope you’ll make plans to come and worship with us soon!

Here's What to Expect

All are welcome. Come as you are! Children of all ages are especially welcome to participate in worship with their families. We even offer childcare for little ones 4 and under.

At the entrance to the Fellowship Hall, you’ll meet some of our friendly greeters who will be happy to assist you with any questions you might have. If you need help finding a seat, where to drop off your kids for childcare, or would like to know more about our church, they can help you with all that and more! Just look for any friendly face with an orange lanyard and they will be happy to help.

You’ll notice that everyone is dressed comfortably, in anything from traditional church clothes to office casual to jeans and sneakers. We’re not kidding when we say, “come as you are.” Oh, and did we mention that we serve coffee before worship each Sunday? It’s just a little extra incentive to get you here on time!

While our worship services might look different week to week, we maintain our commitment to providing a worship experience that connects with all people, regardless of age, culture, or education. In worship, we leave all that divides us behind and we join together as one to worship God through songs, scripture, sermons, and more!

Like most every other church, our worship includes a time for collecting tithes and offering. While it might seem out of place in a worship service, giving back a portion of that which God has freely given us is an act of worship itself! If you’re a first-time visitor, there’s no pressure to give anything when we pass the plate…your offering on that day is your presence with us!

After the service, we hope you’ll stick around to make some new connections with our church family and ministers. Also, if this is your first time visiting, we have a special treat waiting for you in the back of the Fellowship Hall at the Guest Relations table…make sure you swing by and pick it up before you leave!

Contemporary worship is held in the Fellowship Hall. The entrance to the Fellowship Hall is at the bottom of the church parking lot on Dixie Trail, right across the street from Fred Olds Elementary School. Be sure to look for our signs and greeters who will help point you in the right direction!
