At Forest Hills, you’re going to meet a lot of different people who all share one main thing in common: they love Jesus. The church is full of misfits and saints, young and old, and Forest Hills is no different. Our “real” church experience guarantees that you’ll worship, grow, and serve alongside people of all ages, backgrounds, and more.
The church is at its best when it’s worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! If you’re interested in our church community, we recommend starting your journey with us on Sunday morning for worship. We’re confident that the best image of our church is seen in our worship time each Sunday.
When you join us for worship on Sunday mornings, you’re given the choice of attending one of our two worship services that take place simultaneously at 11:00am.
- Traditional Worship – this more formal style of worship takes place in the Sanctuary (where the steeple is). You’ll sing songs of faith alongside organs, pianos, and a full choir. While some people dress up a bit more than others at this service, most people fall in line with business casual. No matter what you wear, you won’t seem out of place.
- Contemporary Worship – this relaxed, informal worship experience takes place in the Fellowship Hall (accessible by the parking lot on Dixie Trail). Our worship leaders play guitars, drums, and more to create a warm worship environment. Most people dress down in this service, so wear something comfortable!
While most people gravitate towards the service that best connects with them, we recommend trying out both services to experience the diversity of worship styles that exist within the body of Christ.
At either worship service, you’ll have a preacher bringing a message from the Bible. At Forest Hills, our preaching rotation includes the Senior Pastor as well as other members of the ministry staff. Depending on the Sunday and service you attend, you’ll hear one of our gifted ministers bringing the message.
If you decide to visit either worship service, you’ll be invited to fill out a Connection Card. It’s our way of connecting our guests with the ministry staff, who are more than happy to answer questions you may have and help connect you with ministries that appeal to you.
