Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network
It's time again for us to show our hospitality to the families being served through Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network, an organization of area churches pulling together to support homeless families that are determined to be self-reliant again. We will partner with West Raleigh Presbyterian Church during the week of March 17 - March 24. Meals, van drivers and overnight hosts are needed, as well as able bodies to help with bed set up and breakdown. Begin to talk with your Sunday School class about this. Perhaps God is calling you to this ministry opportunity. Perhaps He's calling your class to serve in this way. Our help is needed Sunday, March 17; Monday, March 18: Wednesday, March 20; Friday, March 22; and Sunday, March 24. Contact George Allen if you have questions or are wanting to reserve your spot!
Spain Mission Trip
The Spain Mission Team is organizing and welcomes all who are interested in helping spread the gospel through the Iglesia Cristiana del Garraf (the Chrisitan Church of Garraf) in Vilanova, Spain. Volunteers are needed - those who can go to Spain to conduct an English camp for children, as well as volunteers to help with the pre-trip planning in Raleigh. The camp will be June 25-July 5, 2013. Contact Cathey Andrews for more information and/or to express your interest in being part of this team.

"Intervention" series by Terri Blackstock
Barbara Covington has one more chance to save her daughter from a devastating addiction, by staging an intervention. But when eighteen-year-old Emily disappears on the way to drug treatment---and her interventionist is found dead at the airport---Barbara enters her darkest nightmare of all. Barbara and her son set out to find Emily before Detective Kent Harlan arrests her for a crime he is sure she committed.
When fifteen-year-old Lance Covington finds an abandoned baby in the backseat of a car, he knows she's the newborn daughter of a meth addict he's been trying to help. But when police arrest him for kidnapping, Lance is thrust into a criminal world of baby trafficking and drug abuse.
Emily Covington has turned her life around after a drug addiction, but her family still has trouble trusting her. When police discover a homemade bomb under Emily's car, and she then learns the wife of one of her friends was murdered that same morning, she knows things are deadly serious. But who wants Emily dead? And why?
You may find all three books in the "Intervention" series (Intervention, Vicious Cycle, and Downfall) in your Media Library at the corner.
