Some of you will remember the Wyatts from their stay in our missionary residence several years ago. While Kim and Marc won't be here in person, they will be here by way of an online presentation (providing the technology works right).
From the Staff Leadership Implementation Team
We would like to thank the church for participating in the recent Q & A sessions. Based on the feedback we have received, our sub team did not put our recommendation forward as a motion at the church conference on Sunday, March 10. We will be considering the feedback that we have received and determine if another recommendation would better suit the implementation of the staffing model the church adopted.
The Gathering Place Capital Campaign
We are pleased to announced that the church in conference on Sunday approved moving forward with a capital campaign to raise approximately $350,000 for The Gathering Place, the official name for the planned renovation of the library and office area into a welcoming place for us to gather, have fellowship and build community. There will be a luncheon on April 7 to kick-off the fundraising campaign. However, between now and then we are conducting a "silent campaign," with the hope of raising a good portion of the funds needed before the official kick-off. If you would like to help get this exciting campaign off to a strong start, please contact Dora Cornwell or Duff Freeman.

Update from Pastor Search Committee
Do you know someone who would be a good candidate for our next Senior Pastor? If so, the time has come! The Senior Pastor Search Committee has completed a Pastor Profile for future candidates.
We will soon have our Pastor Search website complete which will include the Pastor Profile, Church Profile, and other important information about Forest Hills. See the following link for the profile, and please feel free to pass along to any who may be interested. There are also copies available in the church office.
Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network
It's time again for us to show our hospitality to the families being served through Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network, an organization of area churches pulling together to support homeless families that are determined to be self-reliant again. We will partner with West
Raleigh Presbyterian Church during the week of March 17 - March 24. Meals, van drivers and overnight hosts are needed, as well as abled bodies to help with bed set up and breakdown. Begin to talk with your Sunday School class about this. Perhaps God is calling you to this ministry opportunity. Perhaps He's calling your class to serve in this way. Our help is needed Sunday, March 17; Monday, March 18: Wednesday, March 20; Friday, March 22; and Sunday, March 24. Contact George Allen if you have questions or are wanting to reserve your spot!
Spain Mission Trip
The Spain Mission Team is organizing and welcomes all who are interested in helping spread the gospel through the Iglesia Cristiana del Garraf (the Chrisitan Church of Garraf) in Vilanova, Spain. Volunteers are needed - those who can go to Spain to conduct an English camp for children, as well as volunteers to help with the pre-trip planning in Raleigh. The camp will be June 25-July 5, 2013. Contact Cathey Andrews for more information and/or to express your interest in being part of this team.
There will be no Wednesday night meal or activities on March 27 due to Maundy Thursday dinner and Good Friday lunch.
