International Ministry News

ESL News "You know that lesson you taught last week about the wide and the narrow gate?  Well, my friends and I have been making jokes about it. If we were doing something good, we would say, 'the narrow way,' and if we were doing something maybe not so good, we would say, 'the wide gate.'" What a wonderful Language Sample I heard in ESL/Bible. Quite a bit of theology from an International coming to learn English. God is truly at work! Our teachers reach out. Barbara Martin and Phyllis Waggoner held a joint ice-cream party for their classes. Looks like a lot of fun. Please continue as our teachers do Kingdom work with Internationals. Chinese Baptist Church--Position Open Chinese church is looking for a part-time children's director to work with our children and youth. We are looking for a compassionate and gifted children's coordinator for our Junior Church to serve mainly on Sundays. Please refer all inquiries to Pastor Jane Pan of Chinese Baptist Church. Gospel Back to China Chinese Christians believe that since gospel was spread from Jerusalem to all parts of the world, Jesus will return when the gospel is spread back to Jerusalem. At the Chinese church of Forest Hills Baptist Church, we are reaching scholars for Christ and bring the gospel back to China. Once China reached her own people for Christ, Christians there will bring the gospel back to Jerusalem. On August 17, a Chinese scholar was baptized at Rev. Dr. Jane Pan's small lake and many students came to witness this wonderful testimony. May God increase people for His kingdom and spread the gospel all around the world. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
