The last week of October 2016, following the NC Literacy Missions Conference, the International Ministry, together with the Transformers Sunday School class, visited Pilot Mountain, NC as a fall cultural field trip. We are so thankful to Billy Dorne, Cristian Pineda, and Graham Spencer for offering to drive vans, and for Luke Harris and Suzie Goodell for planning.
After hiking a trail at the Mountain, on the busiest day of the year, we then fulfilled the invitation of Meredith Parker’s family who invited us to a surprise themed Fall Festival! Whitaker Chapel Methodist Church members spent countless hours preparing a haunted house with a feast as far as the eye could see. They did an incredible job!
Forty-eight people from our group, originating from multiple countries, enjoyed games for children, line-dancing, praise songs in multiple languages, and an all-around great time!  This is an example of the Body of Christ at work, hosting and sharing God’s love with the world in Pilot Mountain, NC by way of Raleigh and Forest Hills. Thank you!

And the next day, God continued to receive the glory through our Mosaic Worship Service, because... “He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth—the LORD God Almighty is his name.” Amos 4:13
