Wake Interfaith Service Opportunity - January 25 - Feb. 1
As you look to 2015, perhaps deep in your heart you desire to be of more service to those in our community less fortunate. Getting involved with Wake Interfaith may be that "step in the right direction" as you pursue being "the hands and feet" of Christ to others.
Below is the link for signing up to help with Wake Interfaith during the last week of January. Included in this link are brief "job descriptions" of what's involved with each service opportunity.
For those that have been faithful to this ministry in the past, I hope you will prayerfully consider continuing to support this ministry. If you've not "taken that step yet" to get involved with this ministry, I hope will be in prayer about this opportunity.
Wake Interfaith is an organization supported by area churches in Wake County. The purpose of this organization is to offer support to families working to transition back into independent living. Area churches provide temporary housing, meals, fellowship and transportation for the families while they are participating in the Wake Interfaith program. Forest Hills partners with West Raleigh Presbyterian Church, as they act as the host church, to serve in roles just outlined, meals, fellowship and transportation.
