The Women's Council invites women of all ages to join us for our Blankets of Love event on Monday, February 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in The Gathering Place. We will be making no-sew fleece blankets for Project Linus, a local organization that provides blankets to children who are seriously ill or traumatized. These blankets, which offer a comforting "hug," are distributed to area hospitals, Safe Space, Hospice, Make-A-Wish, the Salvation Army, and Wake County Social Services. This cozy evening will feature a hot chocolate bar with all your favorite toppings. Friends and neighbors are welcome to attend.
