Interested in joining with other women for Bible study, fellowship and fun? This fall, we’ll begin a study of Philippians and Ephesians. Despite imprisonment, the apostle Paul wrote these letters to encourage believers in Jesus to cling to the truth of Jesus. This same encouragement is for us today! The imprisoned apostle Paul wrote these letters based on his first-hand relationship with the Lord Jesus and his desire for others to know Jesus and to grow in the grace and knowledge of the One who gave Himself for us. These books encourage and challenge us to live in the hope, joy, and amazing riches we have because of the gospel of Jesus and guide us in practical ways to live a life worthy of this gospel. While these books might be familiar, God’s Word is living and active and definitely worth repeating and studying over and over! We’ll meet in person on Thursday mornings at Forest Hills in the church parlor from 10 - Noon starting September 26 through November 21. Frances Overby is facilitating the study.
