Carla Smith

Carla has been married to her husband, Paul, for 33 years—their love story began at NC State! They have three wonderful children, two in-laws, and two dogs. Carla has been a part of the Connections Preschool family for over 15 years and truly enjoys being part of such a vibrant community.

Sports are a huge passion of hers, with a special loyalty to NC State. She loves spending time with her family, all of whom live in Wake County, and is always up for a good travel adventure or planning their next trip.

Before joining Connections Preschool, Carla’s first career was in genetic counseling, and her love for science continues to fuel her passion for learning and discovery.
