Garuna is originally from Thailand and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Education Technology, she also has certificates in phlebotomy and bio work. She first came to the United States in 2007 as an Au Pair for a family with two children ages 2 and 4. After that opportunity, Garuna was a nanny for 5 years until deciding to stay at home with her newborn daughter, Clara. She is married to Kevin and has a pet cat, Clementine. Garuna became involved with Connections Preschool when her daughter Clara was a student, and started as teaching assistant when Clara graduated in 2022. Clara is now across the street at Olds Elementary school. Garuna enjoys gardening and is passionate about watching children grow.
