Born and raised in Charlotte, Lauren is a NCSU 2022 graduate with her B.S. in Psychology. She first began working with kids at twelve years old as a lead camp counselor. Her heart for kids has since taken her to even the other side of the world, pouring out her passion to affirm identity and belonging in the lives of those both local and abroad. When she is not in the classroom, Lauren can be found reading with a cup of tea in hand, experimenting in the kitchen, or dancing her little heart out. Lauren is thrilled to welcome this year's little ones into a year of fun, friendship, and growth. This school year, she is looking forward to exploring our year-long theme on culture and is excited to help your child understand and appreciate the emotions they feel.
